Every Livingston lure features the sounds of baitfish, Electronic Baitfish Sounds, on an internal circuit board placed inside a sound chamber.
The most common sound found is the sound of a Shad in distress. Others reflect the color patterns of the lures: Distressed Shad, Shad sounds, Crawfish, perch, bluegill, croaker, mullet, etc. Once the lure makes contact with water, the electronic circuit is complete and the lure emits the sound in an 8-second cycle: 4 seconds of sound, 4 seconds of silence.
EBS Technology is a powerful technology that bridges the gap from an artificial lure and live bait, making the unnatural, natural. It gives an angler a lure that will attract fish from more than twice the distance of a traditional lure with the advantage of attracting and catching more bass, walleye, pike, redfish, striper, and any other predatory fish you’re after.
Set The Hook was founded by Peter Savoia in 2001. The purpose was to bring Canadian fishermen and women the latest in fishing technology and innovation. We feel that Canadian stores and shops should have the same products on their shelves as the U.S. and not wait one or two years before we even hear about them.
For this reason we are determined to bring the finest of products to our dealers after they have been tested by our pro and field staff in some of the most extreme conditions. Products are tested for function, durability, longevity and of course does it do what it claims it can do. Combine this with competitive pricing and you have a partner in supplying you with products to keep you coming back for more.
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2018, the beginnings of Ranger Boats can be traced to 1968 with founders Forrest and Nina Wood. After building the original six boats in what is now the City Hall in downtown Flippin, Ark., the business grew quickly and soon became a household name among fishermen across the country. In the half-century since then, Ranger has pioneered many innovations that are now industry standards.
Today, Ranger Boats continues its commitment to building the highest-quality, strongest-performing boats on the water, with acclaimed models and series in the bass, multi-species, fish ‘n’ play, saltwater, waterfowl utility and pontoon boat segments.
